1. -What time do you usually get up, Rick? 瑞克，你通常幾點起床? - I usually get up at five o’clock. 我通常在五點起床。
(1.) 這是一個用來詢問什么時間做某事的常用句型。它經(jīng)常用來詢問具體的時間，相當(dāng)于對畫線部分(表示具體時間的狀語)提問。
例如：What time do you usually have lunch?
你通常什么時間吃午飯?
I usually have lunch at 12:00.
我通常在12點吃午飯。
(2.) 短語what time= when 都是對時間進行提問，但what time所問的時間范圍比較小，一般用來提問比較精確的時間，回答的時候一般用具體到幾點。而when所問 的時間范圍比what time要大，回答的時候可以用幾點鐘，也可以是上午或者下午，甚至是哪一天、哪一年。
例如：What time do you usually get up? 你通常什么時間起床?
I usually get up at seven o’clock. 我通常在七點起床。
When is your birthday? 你的生日是什么時候?
It’s May 10. 是5月10日。
2. -What time is it now? 現(xiàn)在幾點了?
- It’s about six-fourteen. 大約六點十四分。
(1.)這是詢問時間的常用句型，它的意思是“現(xiàn)在幾點鐘了?”。詢問時間還可以用句型：What’s the time now?或者What time is it by your watch? =What’s the time by your watch? 看看你的手表現(xiàn)在是幾點了?
(2.)回答別人詢問幾點可以用句型：It+is+數(shù)字。也可以用句型：It’s +數(shù)字 +o’clock表示時間是整點。如果是幾點幾分，用數(shù)字表示。
例如：2：24可以是two twenty-four。
3. What time do you go to school? 你什么時候去上學(xué)?
這是一個特殊疑問句，所以不能用Yes或者No來回答。如果句子的主語是第三人稱單數(shù)形式，助動詞用does。
例如：What time does your father go to work? 你爸爸什么時候去上班?

1)英語表時刻其前用at。如：
We get up at six (或at six o'clock).我們六點起床。
They begin work at eight.他們八點開始工作。
2)如說"幾點幾分"，則用下列方法表示：
a)表示"幾點過幾分"，用介詞past，但分數(shù)須在半小時以內(nèi)(包括半小時在內(nèi))。如：
eleven past seven七點過十一分
a quarter past eight 八點一刻
half past nine九點半
b)表示"幾點差幾分"，用介詞to，但分數(shù)須在半小時以上(不包括半小時在內(nèi))。如：
two to seven七點差兩分
a quarter to eight八點一刻
eighteen to nine九點差十八分
[注]讀時間表如上課時間表和行車時間表時，可以直接照表上數(shù)字讀。日常生活中講時刻也可用這樣的說法。如：
7：15讀作seven fifteen 11：30讀作eleven thirty
9：20讀作nine twenty 3：53讀作three fifty-three

1)年代 年代前用in。如：
(in) 897讀作 (in) eight hundred and ninety-seven
(in) 1961讀作(in) nineteen sixty-one (或in nineteen hundred and sixty-one)

(in) 1800讀作(in) eighteen hundred
2)月份 月份開頭第一個字母須大寫，表示"在某月"時，月份前面用介詞in。下面月份后附有縮寫式。如：

(in)February Feb.二月 (in) May五月
(in) March Mar.三月 (in) June六月
(in) July七月(in) October Oct.十月
(in) August Aug.八月 (in)December Dec.十一月

3)日期 用序數(shù)詞(前面須用the)表示;"在某日"，前面用介詞on。如： (on) the first 一日 (on) the eighteenth 十八日

4)某年某月某日
in September 1954 (讀作in September nineteen fifty four)1954年9月
On May 17，1960(讀作on May (the) seventeenth nineteen Sisty )，1960年5月17日

[注] the twenties，the thirties等可用來表示"幾十年代"。如in the nineties of the last century(在上一世紀(jì)的九十年代)。
