英語(yǔ)中過(guò)去時(shí)代替一般時(shí)的情況

　　過(guò)去一般時(shí)：過(guò)去一般時(shí)用于表示過(guò)去發(fā)生的動(dòng)作，或者存在過(guò)的狀態(tài)、特征、身份、性質(zhì)等。

　　在口語(yǔ)中，表示愿望、請(qǐng)求、征詢時(shí)常用過(guò)去一般時(shí)代替現(xiàn)在一般時(shí)，顯得委婉、客氣一些。

　　較客氣：

　　Could you open the door for me?

　　你能幫我打開(kāi)門嗎?

　　直接：

　　Can you open the door for me?

　　較委婉：

　　I wondered if you would lend your bike to me.

　　我不知道你是否愿意借自行車給我。

　　直接：

　　I wonder if you will lend your bike to me.

　　較委婉：

　　Did you want to talk with me?

　　你想跟我交談一下?

　　直接：

　　Do you want to talk with me?

　　較委婉：

　　We hoped that you could help us out.

　　我們希望你們能幫助我們渡過(guò)難關(guān)。

　　直接：

　　We hope that you can help us out.
