　　創(chuàng)作靈感

　　《海洋之歌》是根據(jù)愛爾蘭的關(guān)于一個塞爾奇小精靈的民間傳說改編而成的。導(dǎo)演湯姆·摩爾與兒子在一次旅行的途中，因為看到海灘上有人捕殺海豹而感到痛心，再聯(lián)想到愛爾蘭傳說中海豹象征逝者的靈魂，就此構(gòu)思了整個故事。當(dāng)時導(dǎo)演的兒子十歲，拍完電影后已經(jīng)十九歲了，逐幀手繪和精細制作傾盡了整個團隊的心血。

　　愛爾蘭歷史上由于傳統(tǒng)而保守的農(nóng)作存留時間較長，再加上其鼓勵民歌、器樂、舞蹈以及說唱藝術(shù)的發(fā)展，故當(dāng)?shù)匾魳肪哂懈鼮闈庥舻奶烊患儤闾刭|(zhì)。其音樂注重留白，較少使用打擊樂，因此輕柔如耳語，寧靜亦恬淡。當(dāng)純凈清澈的女聲將民謠娓娓道來時，那些特色樂器(諸如風(fēng)笛、木長笛、錫哨、菲爾德、六角手風(fēng)琴等)便常常作為副旋律或和聲織體與之輝映。

　　豎琴是愛爾蘭最具代表性的民族樂器，清麗的音質(zhì)對塑造愛爾蘭的音樂形態(tài)起到關(guān)鍵性作用。它亦被愛爾蘭作為國徽，以"天使之琴"象征寧靜、和平、博愛，鼓舞民族堅毅果敢，奮勇向前。
