主旨題
主旨題可分為文章主旨和段落主旨兩種。該類題型在歷年題型中出現(xiàn)的頻率極高，每年必出。它考查了考生綜合、概括、歸納和分析問題的能力，要求考生通過對(duì)文章的閱讀，迅速把握文章或段落的中心。命題模式如下：
1. 文章主旨題
(1) What is the main idea of this passage?
(2) This passage is mainly about ___________?
(3) What is the best title of this passage?
(4) What is the author’s main purpose in the passage?
(5) The passage was written to explain ___________.
2. 段落主旨題
(1) What does the first (second/third...) paragraph mainly discuss?
(2) From the first (2nd, 3rd, 4th，etc) paragraph, we can learn that ___________.
3. 主旨題的特點(diǎn)
無論是在段落中還是在文章中，是明顯還是隱蔽，主旨的提出主要有四種情況：
(1) 首段或首句開門見山指出中心或討論的問題。
(2) 文章中間或段落中間給出中心。
(3) 文章末段或段落末句對(duì)全文或全段進(jìn)行總結(jié)歸納，得出中心思想。
(4) 文章或段落中不明確給出中心，考生要根據(jù)各段中心或各句的內(nèi)容進(jìn)行總結(jié)，自己推出主旨。
作者觀點(diǎn)題和態(tài)度題
在一篇文章中，不管作者對(duì)某一觀點(diǎn)是支持、反對(duì)還是中立，是同情、冷漠還是失望，是批評(píng)還是贊揚(yáng)，主觀還是客觀，都表達(dá)了作者一定的觀點(diǎn)和態(tài)度。只是這些觀點(diǎn)態(tài)度的提出有的直截了當(dāng)，有的隱含在字里行間，有的通過所用詞語(yǔ)的褒貶來體現(xiàn)，有的則需要通讀全文，把握主旨才能領(lǐng)會(huì)。一般情況下，閱讀理解所選的文章都不會(huì)帶有強(qiáng)烈的感情色彩，因此不會(huì)引起太大的爭(zhēng)議和分歧。此類題型可細(xì)分為作者態(tài)度題(表明作者的好惡)和作者觀點(diǎn)題(表明作者對(duì)某事物的觀點(diǎn))。題干中的關(guān)鍵詞或詞組有attitude，opinion，tone等。其命題模式如下：

(2) From the text we can see that the writer seems ___________.
(3) The author’s main thought is that ___________.
(4) Which of the following can best describe the attitude of the author?
2. 作者觀點(diǎn)題

(4) What is the author’s opinion (idea) about...?
(5) The author thinks (believes, suggests) that ___________.
(6) In the author’s eyes ___________.
