作者：威廉·布萊克(William Blake)，英國(guó)第一位重要的浪漫主義詩(shī)人、版畫(huà)家，英國(guó)文學(xué)史上最重要的偉大詩(shī)人之一，虔誠(chéng)的基督教徒。主要詩(shī)作有詩(shī)集《純真之歌》、《經(jīng)驗(yàn)之歌》等。早期作品簡(jiǎn)潔明快，中后期作品趨向玄妙深沉，充滿神秘色彩。 他一生中與妻子相依為命，以繪畫(huà)和雕版的勞酬過(guò)著簡(jiǎn)單平靜的創(chuàng)作生活。后來(lái)詩(shī)人葉芝等人重編了他的詩(shī)集，人們才驚訝于他的虔誠(chéng)與深刻。接著是他的書(shū)信和筆記的陸續(xù)發(fā)表，他的神啟式的偉大畫(huà)作也逐漸被世人所認(rèn)知，于是詩(shī)人與畫(huà)家布萊克在藝術(shù)界的崇高地位從此確立無(wú)疑。
