A: 哦，今天我問她什么，她都就只答一個(gè)字，而且很不友好，對我很粗魯。

offend sb.: 冒犯某人。
Why do you ask? : 為什么你這么問?用于表達(dá)不明白對方突然提出的問題的用意。
short: 這里指粗魯簡短的，唐突無禮的。
