　　例1：(請(qǐng)問(wèn)，您需要買(mǎi)些什么?)What do you want to buy?

　　商店售貨員，或者在服務(wù)行業(yè)工作的人，經(jīng)常使用這樣的句子，但是它不符合英語(yǔ)習(xí)慣用法。這是典型的中國(guó)式英語(yǔ)。此話(huà)應(yīng)改為：

　　(1)What can I do for you?

　　(2)Can I help you?

　　例2：(你能告訴我什么時(shí)候我應(yīng)當(dāng)寄出我的申請(qǐng)書(shū)?)Can you tell me in advance when I should send out my application?

　　這種中式英語(yǔ)缺乏英語(yǔ)中的客氣和婉轉(zhuǎn)的語(yǔ)氣。這句應(yīng)當(dāng)改寫(xiě)成：

　　I would appreciate it very much should you let me know in advance when I should send my application.

　　或者
